2010 WRPA Awards Program:
The 2010 WRPA Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday April 15, 2010 at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center, Tacoma, WA.
The Awards Program is chaired by Mary Dodsworth, Past WRPA President, working with the awards committee which is comprised of our district representatives and WRPA officers.
The Washington Recreation & Park Association has established seven awards to recognize organizations and individuals (volunteers and professionals) for their contributions to the Park and Recreation field. In addition WRPA offers a spectrum of Spotlight Awards to recognize excellence in park and recreation projects, services and media.
WRPA members are encouraged to nominate those individuals or organizations who have provided noteworthy contributions to their community and/or the Parks and Recreation profession. |
